ABOUT SportsAbility

SportsAbility enhances the lives of people with disabilities by promoting active living and providing first-hand access to resources and activities designed to encourage participation regardless of age or ability level. People are able to try everything from sit water-skiing to rock wall climbing, martial arts and much more!

Participants of all abilities learn about the value of recreation and active leisure for everyone – especially people with disabilities. People discover the latest in equipment, trends, and resources. SportsAbility provides an opportunity for people to network with people with disabilities, resource providers, and community organizations. There is NO CHARGE to participants thanks to our generous sponsors.

RESOURCE EXPO AND INDOOR ACTIVITIES – FREE

10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Attendees are encouraged and welcome to learn about new products and try fun activities!
Information booths on the latest in products, active leisure programs and services for people with disabilities.
HANDS-ON ACTIVE LEISURE OPPORTUNITIES, such as:
  • Tennis
  • Sit Volleyball
  • Beanbag Toss
  • Parachute Play
  • Interactive Fishing 
  • Fitness Station
  • Archery
  • and more!

Food: Lunch will not be provided this year, but there is a food court next to the TSC Lifetime Sports Complex for any attendees, exhibitors or volunteers who want to purchase food!

Outdoor Day – FREE

April 18, 2026
10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Additional Transportation: Buses depart from CK Steele Plaza in Tallahassee to Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park at 9:00 am and 10:00 am. 

Sit Water-skiing

The OUTDOOR day provides the opportunity for people to try outdoor activities, such as:
  • Rock Wall Climbing
  • Sit Water-skiing
  • Pontoon Boat Rides
  • Adaptive Biking
  • Nature Trail Rides
  • Bocce
  • Lawn Fishing
  • Horseback Riding from 10am-1:30pm, (Riders must be under 200 lbs. and able to self-transfer with minimal assistance)
  • Bean Bag Toss
  • HoverBall
  • Fishing Lawn Games
  • Lunch * Hot Dogs and beverage (provided at no charge)
  • Music

Suggested Sponsorship Levels (Per Event)

While every partnership can be customized, the following sponsorship levels are available for each individual event and provide a helpful guide:

  • $10,000 Sponsorship - Includes premier logo placement on event T-shirts, banners, and signage; top-level recognition throughout the event; table space during both event days; on-stage branding opportunities; entrance signage presence; and featured promotion through event videos and social media.
  • $5,000 Sponsorship - Includes prominent logo placement on event materials and sponsor boards, table space during both event days, event-day recognition, and strong visibility among supporting sponsors.
  • $3,000 Sponsorship - Includes logo on event T-shirts and banners, listed sponsor recognition, and table space at the event.
  • $1,500 Sponsorship - Includes logo placement on event T-shirts and banners, along with sponsor recognition.
  • $500 Sponsorship - Includes logo placement on event T-shirts and listed sponsor recognition.

Multi-event sponsorship opportunities and bundled packages are also available for partners interested in supporting more than one expo.
